Jonnie May Cares grew out of more than two decades of bedside nursing and community work, where we watched too many people leave hospitals, jails, or shelters without a real place to heal. Founded in 2023, our business name is a tribute to Johnnie Mae, the woman and the story behind our mission. We created homes that feel like grandmother's house, inspired by her legacy but guided by licensed professionals and structured care. Our team specializes in housing navigation, tenancy sustainability, recuperative care, medical respite, and support for geriatric, incarcerated, and post-acute clients. Every resident arrives with a story, and our calling is to protect it, steady it, and help it continue with dignity.
